Animation
We provide professional motion cleanup, retargeting, and motion editing services. We refine raw capture data to eliminate noise, correct foot sliding, adjust timing, and ensure clean contact points. Whether your project lives in Unreal Engine, Unity, or a custom pipeline, we've got you covered. We use primarily MotionBuilder and Maya, but we've worked plenty in Blender too.
In addition to mocap-driven workflows, we collaborate with experienced animation contractors who specialize in stylized keyframe animation, in-engine polish passes, and gameplay implementation. This allows us to support projects that require both realistic performance capture and handcrafted animation layers within a unified production pipeline.
Livelink for Previs
Lowkey Mocap connects performance capture directly into Unreal Engine using LiveLink, allowing you to see characters moving inside your scene in real time. Performances are retargeted live to your rigs, with environments, lighting, and cameras already in place. Instead of waiting on exports and re-imports, you can evaluate blocking, timing, and performance immediately and make creative decisions on the spot.
We also provide a virtual camera system that records directly into your Unreal scene, enabling rapid cinematic development during the capture session. Directors can frame shots live, adjust movement, and capture takes as if working on a physical set. The result is a streamlined workflow that blends motion capture, previs, and cinematography into one efficient process.
